§ The practice
Loughlin Technology is a private LLC based in Cherokee, Iowa. The work covers software design, AI enablement, and computer hardware service. Three disciplines that rarely sit under one roof. That's intentional.
The practice is built on eight years of UX and product design experience and a decade of technical consulting. Every engagement is handled by the same senior person from first call to final handoff. There's no team behind the scenes.
Most clients are small to mid-sized businesses across Northwest Iowa and the broader Midwest. Some are remote. What they all want is pretty much the same: someone who knows what they're doing and will be straight with them about their tools.

Direct
You talk to the person doing the work. First call to final handoff.
Honest
If it's not the right fit, I'll say so. If a tool is wrong, I'll say that too.
Restrained
The simplest thing that holds up is almost always the right thing.
